Put the bike up on the rear stand and have somebody show you body positioning. Then you can practice by yourself.* right:

I'm sure I'll go to Level 3 next time for RideSmart.

Hey Capa you have a good looking lean in those pics!
try out Mike Sanchez's school next time with RideSmart. Then Maybe do the Ty Howard school.

yeah! He makes it look so easy and so low....looks like your knee is holding you and your bike up! Looks awesome!!!

At that point, does it feel like the bike is going to slide out underneath you? I feel like that and I'm not even close to being that low. I guess I just have to trust physics.

Thanks man!

Actually when i'm out there I don't realize how low I am getting. Im just focused on holding my line and getting a good drive out of the turn and a few other things that I don't have time to stop and think if i'm leaning too much.* Everytime i'm out there I try a few different things here and there to see if I feel better or worse.* Lines, body position, etc...
You definitely gotta trust the tires and know that gravity is not gonna let you fall unless you just decide to jump off.* *
The tires grip good and i've had a few times where I've felt my rear end get light but nothing major.* It just tells me I probably should try something different next time around.* right:

I need to do a little photochop and get rid of that copyright label*

Yes I would agree that level 4 is perhaps somewhat like a B level at LSTD. Not completely but just somewhat.
You think you know more than the class has to offer? I believe classroom talk gives you something to think about when you're at the track. I've taken the Ty Howard class (Level 3) and there are guys that run well under 2 minutes at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and they take it as well. You can never have enough criticism from someone that knows more than you about the sport. So take what they tell you and put it to use when you're out next time around.

Might go this Saturday, not sure. It depends if my jacket comes in at Cycle Gear or not tomorrow. I only have a helmet/gloves right now so I don't wanna go out there until I have a jacket.

Re: Texas World Speedway Labor Day 9/5/05

Question: Can a sub 2:00 lap be done on stock tires, or is it most likely you will need race tires to get that kind of time? What kind of tires are most people in the sub 2:00 using?

no, but sitting in a classroom hearing somebody talk doesnt give me more time to think about how to improve. i learned alot more at LSTD with an open track day than running around trying to get my together at Ridesmart.

open track day and having somebody follow me and critique me is better IMO.
