[QUOTE=Pre-K;953151][QUOTE=ZXALAN;953126]definetly buy out of state.....look at a couple dealers in Missouri. you can get them for about $9400.....then when you get to texas, you have to pay TTL......You can get out for under $10k.....

True, but just remember to figure in travel costs including fuel, motel, time off work, wear/tear on your truck, etc... its usually not worth it.

look at and you'll see their OTD prices! (I posted it again because its awesome that a dealer is willing to do that, and the fact that the prices are WAY CHEAP).
True True...... I went up there with my buddy back in 04 and got a new R1 for $9200 with a 3yr ext warranty included. We just called this particular dealer(forgot their name, I will try to find out) about an 08 G1k and it was $9400 with everything except TTL. So you figure $10k OTD but about $200-300 in fuel to get it.......not too bad for $10,300 OTD but.......If you could find one local for $10,500 OTD it would be worth paying the extra to not fool with picking it up out of state etc......Paying full retail for sportbikes is just ignorant. I recently sent a buddy over there and he got a 07 New R6 for $7300+TTL.....

Not bad....
