Sirius radio

So who has this in their cage?
I am thinking of getting a portable one in my Rx-8 as it is almost an hour drive to work each day and looking for something to move back and forth from my 8 to my truck when i drive either.

any ideas or thoughts on the service and maybe what is a good reciever/
Michael

I've had XM fo about 4years now and love it. Just got a new unit from pioneer with an 8gig hard drive. I love being able to record and play back XM

How much are the service fees?
How much should one expect to spend for an average set up?

sirius here. Love it, **** commercials on FM, I listen to Octane and leave it there, no more channel surfing.

Cost is about 12.99 per month, but I get the package deals and you save a little. You can even get a life time that will pay off but you have to fork 600.00 for it.

An additional reciever is 6.99. I say go that route, and put an in dash receiver in both cars. Having a removable is nice but they dont look good in your car and you have wires showing.

You can also listen at home on your PC for free, get a nice set of speakers for your computer and jam. I listen at work also on my PC.

installs are easy but if you have never done radio installs then you could get someone to help you with it.

, I am going to get that lifer then, 399 is a deal.

Oh and if you do use up all of the transfers when the last radio takes a dump dont tell them, and then just get an additional reciever added for 6.99 if you dont want to do another lifer.
