Now we just need to see pics of the wounds. Glad everyone is going to make a full recovery. We had two wrecks on the ride that that must not be named yesterday. Rider error on both accounts. Not a good weekend.

Po Po - Glad you're doing well - haven't been on here much - I'm in LA right now - be home tomorrow night - keep your chin up - (and the pain pills) glad it's looking like no infection.

I just looked at my helmet for the first time since I went down and the weird about it is that IT DOES NOT HAVE 1 SINGLE SCRATCH IN IT...

I did not notice that my leg was bleeding badly... when I took my leathers off I noticed a 2 inch by 2 inch hole in my knee... you could see that it was down to the bone... Candie drove me to the hospital... Since the E.R was backed up we waited and then who do Candie and I see??? Bubby, Candies huspand... he too wrecked... he dislocated his finger, broke his toe and ripped open one of his toes too... So all in all a track day or some... but its good to know that many of you all were concerned for me and others... Im concerned for my bike but happens... Now I have to go to see a plastic surgeon on Monday but they believe I will not need a skin graft... I should heal in time with using a method called Wet/Dry dressing application... Thanks to all that helped me at the track... And thanks to Dr.Doug(Radar) for the onsite doctoring you provided... thanks Candie for taking me and hanging out with me through the cleaning that hurt like crud... Ask Candie, there was a period where they hit a nerve and my face went white...

I WILL get back out on the track soon... again thanks to all
Welcome to the Leg and a Limp club. :P

Glad to hear your doin OK popo. I ended up with a badly broken collarbone after t-boning your bike, had to get surgery today to get it put back together. Looks like our bikes faired about the same - bodywork, clipons, rearsets. I need to check my front rim and forks still, they may be tweaked.

I can assure you that you went down before I hit the bike, I remember watchin in slow motion as you lowsided and thinkin "o , do I hit him or his bike". I tried to miss both but remember your bike sliding right in front of me and running straight into you lower fairing before being ejected over the bars, and according to Larry, flippin 3 times in the air before hitting the pavement.

Anyway, no hard feelings, and hope your next "1st" trackday goes better You might want to check out some other organizations that have groups based on speed, it'll be safer and less intimidating for you out there. It looked to me like you went in a little too hot for your comfort zone, trail braked a little too hard, and tucked the front end.

My race season is a goner, I'll be lucky to get back out there by August...

Did you have a displaced fracture? I am just wondering because they apparently did surgery on it and put pins in. Mine was a non-displaced and letting it heal on its own was a real . I am STILL having issues with the shoulder.
