The officer that died lives across the street from my aunt. my parents went over there today to pay thier respects with the family. everybody keep them in your prayers.

Yeah, this was another LEO casualty. The wife is in critical condition.

The Patriot Guard has been asked to honor both this Conroe Officer, Joe Cranfill, as well as Officer David Joubert. Dates have yet to be announced.

On Officer.com the story states that the officer was dragged underneath the car for nearly a block, then some dozen passers-by assisted in overturning the car to free him.
