How so? I don't have a high body fat percentage as is....I already have a lot of fat burning lean muscle mass which contributes to fat loss...I'm floating around 15%

Yeah don't wanna go that low...that's a bit too low, not trying to do shows or anything. Upkeep on that is pretty difficult...you're pretty much only able to eat water n oatmeal...I'll be good at 10, may go a percent or two lower for those summer months...

Good luck on your diet. I lost about 80lbs over three years (from 200 to 104 then back up to 118); about 7 years ago. Luckily I've been able to keep it off. The best advice I can give is to cut down on your intake, and step up your output.

Caloric intake depends on your size. To maintain my bodyweight at 105 lbs, I'm only allowed 1100 calories a day. In order to lose weight you have to limit so many calories to equal about 3300 a week- one pound. Of course, I'm only 5 foot nothing and it's okay for me to weigh 105 (I don't, though, currently I'm 118).

Not eating something you want will only make you cheat, it's okay to have a small portion of whatever you want. Losing weight is different for everybody- the only way to get it done is to WANT to. Again- Good luck!

i dont know anyone who can put on more than 2-3lbs of lbm in a month this is while bulking mind you. anything more than 2-3lbs a month is gonna be fat... unless your on gear. but, this is while bulking.... the only people ive ever seen be able to cut and put on lbm at the same time is newbie lifters, and its generally not very much. if you can pull off such an amazing feat in such a short amount of time you are probably one of the only few people with crazy amazing genetics. you would need jay cutler genetics and alot of gear to come close to pulling this one off. dont mean to sound like an asshat, but seriously bro, losing 5-6% bf is hard enough to do in a couple months while just maintaining the muscle you currently have, let alone adding 10lbs of lbm in a little over a month... which is pretty far fetched as well.

I hear u on the bulking/losing bf simultaneously but disagree on the losing the 5% bf in 5 weeks part. I've both dropped significant amounts of bf in short spans in my lifetime and have several friends that train and/or are personal trainers that have told me about "the plan". As far as the bulking, that's more secondary and long term, I should have been a bit more specific...mainly I want to drop the body fat first, go through a bulking phase, drop again and try to find equilibrium at or around 190 lbs of lean muscle mass w/ a 10% bf rating. Currently, I am 187 lbs w/ a 15% bf rating. In the end, we'll see...various bodies react different to different stimuli.

Diets are temporary, what you are really looking for is a lifestyle change..

And this is where I'm different. Eating a small portion made me want more. Not eating it for a while made me forget that I ever wanted it.

thats more like it, and yes its possible to drop 5-6% in 5-6 weeks, but its not gonna be easy to do, especially if you dont want to lose any muscle.
