Baytown Houston Raceway

Quick question. Are motorcycles allowed on friday night for the street night? Also if they are, does anybody here ever go and if I go by myself is there anybody to hook up with and give me some pointers. Thanks,

Re: Baytown Houston Raceway

Yeah... motorcycles are allowed, but you have to stage @ the tree with another bike. Usually, you can ride past all the cars and go to the front of the line, and just wait for another bike to show up. Last time I went there, I got like 5 passes in within about 15 minutes.

FYI... if you start getting too fast, they will require you to have full leathers, and a kill stitch.

Re: Baytown Houston Raceway

if you trap at 120mph or faster you have to have leather pants, otherwise a leather jacket will get you in, you need to have a chain guard as well, no matter how fast you are. SOME times the techs are lax on things and let you in with a mesh jacket and no chain guard.

Re: Baytown Houston Raceway

At the end of the run there is a booth that gives you a print out of your times and then just past that is a scale you can park your bike on to see a true weight.

Some friends of mine I think are going Friday and they asked me to but I have a bent shift fork I need to get fixed before I put it on the track. I may go with them to watch though.

What time do you show up if you want to make a pass? What all do I need to bring, would I need some kind of ID?
