I've got a plate and six screws in my radius. It does bother me every now and then, mainly after track days. If it keeps up over the next few years I'll get it removed before I retire form active duty.

Pay close attention to in once you regain full mobility. It took me a while to really narrow it down to the break.

no. I was unconscious!!! They gave me a nerve block before they put me to sleep, too. When the block wore off later on, around midnight, I was ready to scream. Everyone else was smooching at midnight and celebrating. I was stuck in the hospital getting pumped full of morphine.

9 screws and a plate in the ankle for 2 yrs now and no problems. It is stiff when I wake up sometimes but nothing walking around for 5 min won't solve. 2 screws and some surgical wire in the face since 88, never a problem with those. Got into a fight.
