They are not immigration officers and enforcers. Sadly.

Besides, you do not have to be a legal resident nor a citizen to get your drivers' license, so if that illegal immigrant has a DL to show, how will the cop ever know?

Get your M dude. What the heck?

Read your ticket...that's why the officer gives you all those extra pages along with the citation. you'll see that if you fix the problem within 10 days of the violation, the judge has the option to dismiss or lower the fine. same thing for no inspection or registration...

So, get your M and see what happens...most times they'll deal with you because you fixed the problem and they have tons of people in line behind you fighting their tickets.

Yeah if you get your license in 10 days they'll dismiss it.

Out of curiosity who was the officer that wrote you the ticket and what did he stop you for originally?

I don't see how people ride around with no license. I rode my bike home from the dealer with no M, and it pretty much stayed parked until I got it.

I've had mine from day one- took the MSF before I got my license (had to back then if you were under 18). I still renew my "M" even though I don't ride on the streets any more.

Meh...I don't understand what you're ' about. Plain and simple...you broke the law. Take the MSF, you also get a 10% discount for three yrs on m/c ins coverage and if you pay attention during the course, you might just learn something.

Not sure of the dudes name but its nw houston 2920/kuykendahl area. There is two guys on bikes cracking down hard on the dumbest things (believe me u would just have to see it). I've seen one an mostly what the guy does is just yell at ppl. Seen him lane splitting to the front of a light just to get next to someone and tell them off with no citation?? They block off turn lanes so ppl have to wait. Filter through cars w/o signaling or having any care in the world. Its the craziest thing I've ever seen..

Basically. He was stopped at a gas station on the corner with someone already pulled over. Then after he got me (used the shoulder for a turn lane ) I was waiting for a friend with a truck to come get me. He must have pulled 5 or 6 more ppl over just by walking into the street and waving them in. Then he is ready to leave so he rides over and tells me that he cant tell me to ride but that if he is gone then he cant say anything if I leave
