i ran my Aprilia SXV550 which is fuel injected, so i didnt have to worry about jetting. but my 2 buddys Joe Prussiano & Mike Ingle did. they rode a Husky 510 & CRF450. they took the bike to the top and jetted it there.

for our rookie run we all did really well. i got 5th in the 750cc class. Joe P got 4th in front of me. it was so freakin fun. me and Joe raced each other all the way to the top ! we had a couple bar bangin moments ! it was one of the funnest races ive ever done in my life. we are already signed up for this years race on July 20th.

anybody interested in going... go to their website: www.ppihc.com

generally the bikes are faster... except for "monster's" car. 1000 hp suzuki. he did it in 10.01 mins. a new overall record. the fastest bike was Davey Durelle on a rotax flat track bike 11.41 mins

it really depends on the corner and the surface. the start began on asphault. fast sweeping corners. so i used a knee out roadrace style there. the 2nd section was all dirt, so i used a flat track style of riding there. then when i hit the 3rd section it was asphault with tight switch backs (they call that section the W's). so there i used a supermoto style of riding, foot out and backin it into corners. then you hit the last sections witch starts off in a part they call "the devils playground". its all dirt from there to the top. long straights with big sweeping corners. you'd be doin 85mph on a dirt road with a 1500 ft cliff drop off to your right. i rode flat track to the finish line from there.
