Billary crying, weakness or showing humanity?

discussing w/ the female engineer next to me about this, after she won NH, she was on stage and appeared to be crying as was Bill.

is this a sign of weakness

or showing that she's "human"

That has always been my problem with a woman being in office. I don't think the country can be ruled on emotions. Which MOST women have a problem with seperating theirs. And then, when you have a woman who is capable of removing the emotion part, she is probably too cold of a B*tch. That is my opinion. Not saying women aren't capable, I'm sure we will find out eventually first hand, that is just my worry about it.

I am glad I am a woman and can experience emotions which give me a pretty interesting range of feelings that I can also express. Her crying - to me - shows she is human. I feel sorry for guys who have a limited range of emotions and feelings. Well, there are some guys who cry (when they win the superbowl for example). Is that weakness or human then?

Nothing wrong with emotions, but when you are president and crying and showing your feelings on your sleeve, what do you think that is going to show the other countries?

I'm not saying emotion is wrong. It definetely takes part, but too much emotion can be bad. Both for the appearance (sign of weakness) to terrorists, and threatening countries, or letting your emotions drive your decisions too much and causing you to make rash decisions. Heaven knows my wife can't think anything through when she is emotional.

guys feel emotions too, just not as profound as a women. However, we are good at concealing them, which is why a woman should not be president. how do you think other countries would perceive us if we had a woman president who cries whenever she is overwhelmed??? it would look fukin ridiculous!

She shouldn't expose herself like that.

A leader should not cry unless there has been something dramatic happen like 9/11 (I bet Bush locked his door and cried his eyes out like the rest of us).

You simply dopn't cry for an election, thats gay.

BS.

Other countries wouldn't think that. Example, when the Indonesian leader was killed the other day, people (men!) were running in the streets and crying aloud. Why would they think that a President of the United States is irrational by showing tears?

You see folks cry all the time, when they receive awards, win a special game like the Superbowl or Olympics and they are strong winners, as proven.

Her being secure in showing some tears just means that she is genuine and self-confident.
