RideSmart @ Cresson - Feb 11

www.ridesmart.info is hosting the opening of their 2008 season with the MSR track crew in Cresson, TX. It is on Feb 11, and as usual will be a blast to attend.
Food is provided the night before the track event, as well as a good lunch on the day of the track event.
The riding track will be 1.7mi, in the CC direction. If you have already been there, you know the track kicks . If you have not been there yet, you don't know what you are missing.
They do have an on-site photographer who takes rockin' photos. You will also have a chance to get yourself a video of the event as well.
So sign up, as many track starved bodies will be seeking their season opener to let out some riding steam.

Some info on the track: http://www.motorsportranch.com/

Wonder who from here will be attending. Hope to see you there.

So who on here is going there?
I signed up and looking at the weather, should be fun...the chance of rain they call for is 30%, but about 20% is like the default for Texas this time of year.
So the temp looks good and I think the weather will keep up. Tomorrow will kick . Will post pics afterwards (if I get any).

See you all there.

just got back. What a kick day. Perfect weather. Almost. Was overcast for larger part but not a drop of rain. Everyone did great.

Kind of tired now, so I will update with some pics later on. Later.

Yep, great day. I was really impressed by everyone's restraint and level-headed-ness. (is that a word?) The track was very green for the first few sessions and all the groups had riders w/ their ego's in check. Beginner & Intermediate had no red flags all day so Ridesmart drew a name from each group and gave away $100 to each of them. Level 3/4 almost went the day w/o one as well, but did have a red flag the second to last session...

Yea, It was a great way to kick off the 2008 season!

Just 1 crash for the whole day. Went very well indeed.

Here is the link for the event. It was awesome. Really a great way to start the season with. Everyone behaved and was out to have fun, which made the event even better.
Already can't wait for March 10 (if the significant other concurs).
Then and March 22 (TWS (Texas World Speedway)) - hope they kick too.
