Serious Question: I'm having bad dreams about dying on my bike.

Serious Question, I'm having bad dreams about dying on my bike.
Is this natural?

...this would seem to imply an subconcious concern or fear. Either becuause of your comfort level on the bike, the environment your riding in or your riding experience/ability and your comfort level.

In short, somethings 'off'.. take some time for some 'deep thought'.

Weird. What are you doing when you die in the dream? A cage hits ya? You fly off a cliff or what?

IMO- you dream about your anxieties. You're obviously anxious about crashing. It's completely normal. As long as you're cautious and don't do any stupid t on the bike you'll be fine and it will pass.

I drive my car everyday, but always dream, even daydream, about horrible accidents in it. :/:

i had a dream a couple of months ago, that i was entering an on-ramp (wasn't wearing a helmet) and i hit something in the rode and fell off the bike. Scared me for a little bit, but as long asyou remain aware, constantly monitor your surroundings, and wear your gear, youll be fine. most wrecks can be prevented.

bikes arent for everyone and its ok to acknowledge a fear for them, better to take some time to look at your skill level, what really important to you in life and think about is it worth riding if your not having fun abd being safe, inmho a worried rider is just as bad as an intoxicated rider.

i'm a pretty safe and boring bike rider, i dont like to take chances what so ever cause i'm scared of falling and getting run over. I have not been riding long so i'm sure my skill level has something to do with it, as for as the power sure it does concern me too. Thanks guys for all your imput, i want to meet some for you guys but yall intimidate me cause i have not been riding as long as you guys. Anyway i hope it passes soon. thanks

I am new here and i have only ridden with one person from here and i have known one member in here since i was a kid. and i know some other people from this board. and what every single one of them tell me and i may be wrong but i think the general policy/custom is that on rides most wait for the slow riders. remember everybody was slow/inexperienced at one time. and just because you are slow does not make you a bad rider. my dad can drag his floorboard on a goldwing when he wants to. but on any given day he goes so so so slow. so dont let that be the reason you dont meet up with peeps from here lol.
