I think the front faring would have look better if it was just a tad higher and wider. Is that a Dry Clutch?

That was the New America Sports, stupid name but sweet bike.
Saw it at Laguna Seca that year and just stood there and drooled. I always thought the seat cowl looked like a GSXR.
The single sided front end is a great look but prolly not very practical for production, I think it would be heavy and likely to have handling/shimmy problems. The exhaust is very cool, and I always wondered why they couldmake that a reality at least.
One of my favorite parts was the swingarm, it looked like billet.
Another good idea was the round piece with bolts just below the fuel tank. That was a cylidrical airfilter that could be accesed from the left side. You just popped off the cover and slid out the filter, unlike current bikes where ya gotta remove the gas tank.

No offense, but that's probably cause you have a F2. The later gen 600 and 1000 are forever away in advancements.

Me personally, I don't like it. Instead of the next 1000's "ran into a brick wall" look, this stinks of "some fat @ss sat on my face" look.
To each his own, but I think there was a valid reason Honda left this one at show status.

I have to agree with houstonduc. If the front fairing were a little bigger/taller it would be perfect. Except I would not trust the front single sided swing arm.

Why? Because the American buying public at large does not buy naked bikes.

Although the tide has been slowly turning over the past 5-6 years, Honda as well as the other MFR's have been bit hard by the non-acceptance of really good / versatile naked bikes that sat on the showroom collecting dust.
