Need a little advise about racing sprints with the D675

What classes can I run the 675 in with the '08 rules.
I'v sure the following still apply:
Superstock B & C
Superbike B & C
and someone had mentioned
Heavyweight Twins in '08

Can anyone confirm or add?

You'd have to read the rule book to specify, but you can "ride up" in any class, is that what your getting at?

In other words, you can run ss/ sb A, F1, and HW Twins.

This will be my first FULL season and I'm looking for some classes where I might have a fighting chance.

The 08 rule book wont be out until the OHR races in FEB

No, you won't get your copy until then. I believe the '08 edition is out now on-line. Perty sher.

The rule structure regarding the D675 will not change for 2008.

If additional specifics are necessary, kindly contact Walter Walker, Race Director of the CMRA.

What? You mean a three cylinder isn't a twin?

"HW Twins" is 1000cc twins, the 675 falls well below the cc and hp (barely) for that class. You can race "up" to whatever class you want.

Explained here: http://cmraracing.com/pdf/2007/2007%...sy%20Guide.pdf

and here on pg 23: http://cmraracing.com/pdf/2007/Ruleb...-%208%20pt.pdf

its not. you're just running a smaller displacement bike in a class with larger displacement v-twins. i guess according to the rule book its okay with the 675.

You should do really well in F2 and LW Twins I bet! I know I have a helluva time with the GP bikes in those classes.
