Boot preference?

I've been looking at both some set up and some oxtar boots. Just curious what everyone's opinion was on who makes the better boot.

I been wearing Oxtars for about 5 years and just bought a new pair about 3 months ago.
I got an unbelievable deal so I will keep them as backups until my original pair wears out.
If you have questions PM me and I'll tell you everything I know (take about 10secs).

I just bought a pair of the 99.00 Oxstar boots and they are Awesome... If I had the money I would get Alpine star of course but the Oxstars do the job just fine... They feel great and look great too... I recommend the 100%. THANKS Bumblebee for the referral...

I've got Setup for Street and A* for Track days..........it just depends on how much time you spend in them walking around.
Both crash well FWIW.

Personal preference; Sidi / Setup.
Oxtar makes good boots too.
My advice? Try them both on and see how they feel.

Fay,
FWIW, I'm not sure ANY boot could have protected you from an idiot t-boning your leg.
Granted, a "race" boot would have had more armor and perhaps more protection, but no boot on the market is designed to take a direct hit from another motorcycles front tire at speed.

I'm on my second pair or A* SMX boots(first were sold to McKee) They squeek a LOT, but I trust them. Thankfully I haven't had the (dis)pleasure of crash testing them. I want Sidis though. No reason really as to why, I just like them.

They squeak waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too much. Try some A*Supertechs for squeaklessness.
