I have a half marathon to run on 1/13.... I typically pick up the numbers and transponder on the day before. If I can pick it up on Friday instead, I'll be at the track on Saturday.

looks like too much info to me......i just wing it and ride it out.......cool tool to have nonetheless

best places to pick up time are the faster turns. get those down, and you'll be good to go.

Once you have a chance to start using data acquisition, all the stuff starts to make sense very quickly. Flashing up a graph is more confusing than helpful. But imagine wanting to try a different line through a set of turns. You can run a session with the new line and then compare all the laps from that session to the laps in a previous session.

Also very good for test and tune when tweaking suspension. It's a huge advantage. You'd be amazed how often you tells you you are fast or slow in a corner and it turns out to be dead assed wrong... no pun intended.

At the end of the day, racing in a car or on a bike comes down to physics. there is only so much one can to with the tire contact patch
