thats the 1k. so r6 copied the gsxr.
a few aftermarket 1k exhaust are designed just like that, so i guess they decided to make it stock like that.

Re: New 2006 Gixxer

I actually didn't like it at first... but after takin off those mirrors and changin a couple things I think it actually looks pretty badass... not to mention I think it owns yamaha in performance. But anyways.. I don't mind the design once a little mods are on it. right:

And yes Yami copied Zuki.

Well, it's not the 1000.. cause the 2006 1000 is on Suzuki's website and it has the same side exhaust.

I don't give a who copied who. The 05 R1 is the sexiest bike ever made and if I had the to ride it I would but I don't so I wont and I will stick with the second sexiest bike and that is the 05 R6

Re: New 2006 Gixxer

Exhaust is an awsome desighn, you can lean it without the heat of the underseat exhaust, in-genious. Reminds me of a GP bike

Re: New 2006 Gixxer

thats the 1k your can see it on the side little blury but deff. a 1 not a 6 plus i dont think the redesigned the 6 just new paint scheme and i havent seen any yamahas owning anything in ama the kawi owns supersport class and both 1k classes are owned by sukis and so is the allstar 1k suki is owning world superbike the only yami that quick is valentino rossi but i mean its rossi he owns on any bike and honda is still on his tail. sorry i like the old r1's but the new ones look like garbage, and never been a r6 fan or kawi until the 636 man those are one of the best styling ive seen beside the 05 that undertail looks cheap and because the undertail they made it wider and it looks too big.
