tragedy

i don't know about you guys, but i want to do something to help out these people in the dome. i heard it was really bad. here is an email i recieved from a good friend.:
HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP

To: EVERYONE (YES I AM YELLING)

I had the opportunity to help last night at the ASTRODOME and was it an eye opener. I closed our family business down early to help the people devastated by KATRINA. When I walked into the Dome it was not what I would have ever imagined. I will not go into what is happening but I am begging for your HELP. The people that are in the Astrodome had NOTHING except the bag they came in with and the soiled clothes on the body and HUNGRY. If you will help and would like to drop it off at my store I will take it to the Dome. Ginger and I will be volunteering Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Item’s needed EVERYTHING. Please donate NOW.

UNDERWEAR KIDS-TEENS-ADULTS (Used will work they have none)

WHEELCHAIRS

T-SHIRTS

SHIRTS

PANTS

SHORTS

SHOES

SOCKS

DRESSES

TOWELS

FOOD

Water

ANYTHING WILL HELP

Thanks and Bless

Maybe we can all pitch in and either donate time or donate money as one group. it would help these people and also give bikers a good name excpecially with all the bad rep. we been gettin lately. wether we do it together or indiviual, something needs to be done.

let's get some idea's first and go from there. something to help. positive feedback only.

Re: tragedy

I'm going through the house now looking for clothes and items to donate. I also intend to give some money. They definitely need it more that we do.

yeh ive been goin through my closet and I have clothing for about 15 people.. I think my mom is gettin her share too and we're givin it to red cross or someone in charge of gettin it over to them.. I just don't have time w/school and all or I would go lend a hand. Pray for these people!

Re: tragedy

DO NOT volunteer alone. There are criminals and drug addicts from withdrawals. There have been reports of criminal activity, hostilty, and rape. Your saftey is more important than sympathy.

all of you be careful, I heard there's signs of cholera going on (don't know how true that is), but if you volunteer take care of yourself also
