RC helicopters...

Anyone else fly these things? Got any advice? Setup tips?

In my semi crippled boredom I decided to order a Esky Lama v4 off of ebay.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wivyK...eature=related

Cost 100$ shipped. Got it a few days ago, man is this little thing cool. After i learn how to fly better will probably get a belt cp (video below, about 200 shipped).

about 10 minutes or so....

which one you gonna get?

little fugger is cool....it ain't easy to fly and you WILL be breaking blades so use a simulator to get your basics down. The lama came with one.

i have raced serpents for years, helis are tough to learn to fly. I am real impressed with the lama for price and performance. Good learner/indoor chopper.

the belt cp is unreal for the money

took about 10 days, but that was during christmas/newyears.

Even though i am somewhat of an rc snob, I am extremely impressed with this little chopper for the price and as a learner.

I would like to get one of those mini mosquitoes from Radio shack...I heard they are fairly easy to navigate and would be a blast f'ing with my cat.

i got all into rc helis a few years ago. picked up a tt raptor .30 w/ os engine, and bought an airtronics 8ch rx/tx w/ all quick acting bb servos and gyro. never even put the thing together, ended up just selling it all off cause i was scared i would crash in the first 5 seconds and tear it up.
