TD vs Membership

After reviewing the amount of $$$ I spent last year on track days I'm considering coughing up the money for a membership at MSRH.

Thoughts?

(btw I did over 20 trackdays last year)

if you have the extra cash do it, if not then do the trackdays. I mean cause you will want to do other tracks after some time.

Silver is a pretty popular membership. $7K initiation, $150 month, and $30 for each day you use the track. Last year I heard of a few people that were able to spread the $7K out across 12 months.... thus $700 a month for the first year (included initiation and monthly fee) + $30 track usage fee. You might call them to figure out if that option is still available.

They have various plans available. haven't called them to see if they are willing to let you upgrade from one plan to another if you see the need.

Just b/c you have a membership somewhere doesn't mean you can't hit up an occasional TD somewhere else.

Pluss if you go often to the track add the oil, tires, etc etc. Is not just the membership, save money for the bike needs as well

Are memberships transferrable? That may make it a worth while investment down the road should you decide to do something else.

You can always hire someone for 50 bucks, let him cornerwork for you and ride for free. Or maybe that new GF of yours

3 TD's a month (TWS (Texas World Speedway) and MSRH) would run ya anywhere between 480-540...not 700, and yo get to experience more than one track...All I got to say, is if you do do it....I better get a guest pass
