I went down

We went out to the national forest this yesterday and I was on my 70, I was having a blast when I hit a patch of sand and washed out. The bike landed on top of me and i pushed it off of me thinking to myself this wasn't so bad until I tried to stand up. I stood up and realized that my shin had slammed the foot peg ouch. This is the only injury I substained not but but hurts like a . Got back on the bike and kept on going. I would post pics but it is no where near graphic enough to rate being posted. I am ready to go again.

+1. You should consider hiding in the closet for the rest of the week.

Glad to hear you're okay. My kids wreck their dirties all the time, get back on, and wreck again. Wish we bounced like they do.

right, it is harder for us older folks to keep up with the youngsters, but I am going to try until I die.

No hidin from me, Yea I went down too, I was also on the other 70 and the trails are real sandy and lots of roots, really need more ground clearance than a 70 has, neways I was haulin azz and all of a sudden I was slamed over the bars and hit the ground, couldnt figure out what happened untill I picked the bike up and realized the rear brake pedal cought a root and pulled it all the way down and bent it back it was sticking straight out the side, so I laid the bike down and kicked back into place and took off, arm and shoulder just a little sore, fortunately I didnt hit the same place again

yea me too, it would have been a much longer ride if my leg had not been throbbing so much. I got a nice little goose egg on my shin but that's about it.
