1200 bandit

I am helping a friend out on his 1200 bandit 96 with a 01 motor and computer. the problem is the carbs i think they are off a oldskol gsxr wth no tps sensor how can i get around this? I told him to get the right carbrators for the bike. just looking to see if there is another way around this.

As do R6's and a few other bikes.

On the later Bandits you have to use the TPS.
If you have a pre 2001 harness and ecu, you can get around it.

Could the Dyna 2000 Performance Ignition system work around the tps. I know the carbs would be cheeper. any body have a set of carbs?

Do you have the harness and box for the 1st Gen?

I posted a WTB on MaximumSuzuki to see if anyone has some carbs; there are a set of Keihin flatslides on there for $625

Both wiring harness have the tps connector and I only have the 01 computer.
