Glad you're ok, Jeff. Seems like your bike got out ok as well, but give it a once (or twice) over, just in case.

I do feel bad for the dog, though, but it's not like you could have prevented it anyway.

I'm not looking for retribution or anything (to anyone who's making assumptions), just curious if it was the same incident.

Personally, I could care less, and couldn't stand the way they let that thing run loose and chase vehicles anyway.

I honestly don't know exactly where we were, but it would have been a corner house/trailer in Waller Co. White dog about 40lbs, I sure hope it wasn't hers.

I can't begin to tell you how many people get into accidents and get hurt bc they attempt to swerve out of the way of a dog... I'm sorry but if I can swerve safely then I will BUT if Im going to hurt myself/my family or the public then I'll mow right over pooch and say I'm sorry later...

Nope, this was in Needville.

Yeah, I agree with the "pooch vs me" thing- I've had the unfortunate event of hitting a dog on the freeway on my bike about 25 years ago. I did crash too, it was a big dog.

Glad you had a good outcome regarding your bike
