You want to buy something to tell you your top speed? GPS isn't it. Top speed and average speed data is simply an afterthought for a routing unit.

I've got my Quest on a powered RAM mount so I never have to recharge it on multi-day trips. U-mount with a ball, then an arm that adjusts it wherever I need it. I have it close to my tank bag but well within my line of sight so I don't have to necessarily tilt my head down to see it.

Handlebar mount:
RAMB149ZGA15

Brake/clutch resv. mount (some bikes):
RAMB174GA15

Suction cup mount with flexible arm:
rap1056224ga15

Ratchet/pivot mount(?gas tank):
rapb104224ga15

If you want to use it for all it's worth, let me know. It's easy to learn and once you get used to it you'll wonder how you ever got around town without it.

Great. Another semi-informative and somewhat on-topic thread spoiled.
