If I had a track bike I'd try this $hit. Wonder how much those ice tires are. You could learn alot about balance doing this.

Used to do that in Colo, and we ran cars as well.

We would just use sheet metal screws in the knobbies. They also had a stock tire class; that was challenging!!!!

Actually, I'm going upto Fargo tomorrow to ride at a lake over the weekend.
This will be my first ice ride and don't really know what to expect.
I'll take some pics and post them up when I come back (to Minneapolis).

Ice tires are somewhere from $200-$400 (dirt, used).
It depends who made the tires.
There are some well known ice tire makers and their tires are normally more expensive than others.
Also professionally done ice tires have silver screws rather than golds.

Take as many pics/vids as you as you can. Wipeouts probably aren't rare so you gotta snap them pics!!!!!

I'll post them after the weekend.
You also need to tighten those screws once in a while and it's a big pain in the .
Think about how many would they be on two tires!
