I do have that eact helmet and like it very much, ecept slight wind noise at high speed, but really almost all helmets have that problem, just wear ear plugs, I also have several other kinds, Arai, Shoei, etc and I grab this helmet everytime, hope this helps

best advise for you is to go try one on. When I was helmet shopping stubbs on telephone had one. Not all helmets are shaped the same. I really wanted an arai but my head shape best fit a shoei so that is what I got. go for comfort first.

Here's a link to a review and weight comparison chart. The last HJC I owned was a AC-11 and the lining compressed over a couple months to the point where it no longer fit well.

Ditto on the wind noise, but I like mine! And the lining comes out so you can clean and or replace it if needed.

Yes, and mirrored

So far as wind noise, it depends on the speed and the riders tolerance. I get a lot of buffeting off the windscreen, so wind noise has been an issue with every helmet I've tried so far.

Good helmet. +1 on getting properly fitted.
If you come by, we can check your size / shape of your noggin and make sure it fits.

We'll also make you a smoking deal on the helmet!

I LOVE MINE! it holds up great, I order mine 2 months b4 it came out and got it the day it came out and i still have it.. wonderful helmet and mine was very quiet, but I did have to replace the windscreen about every 5 months because like they say you get some wind noise because HJC's visors are pieces of . but a new clear one is less then 15 bucks.

i like it better then the RF1000 I had, only reason I retired it was because my gf offered to buy me a Arai

I have no problems with mine. It does have more wind noise than any other helmet I've owned and the sizes run a little smaller. I wear a medium in any other HJC but with the carbon fiber HJC I wear an XS. It's VERY VERY light weight and with the mirrored visor they look sick I ordered mine when they first came out off eBay for $300...that's including shipping.

I love mine and actually has less wind noise then most my other helmets I have owned it also gets less air under the chin. I also got my cousin one and we both love them. Not sure about them running smaller then others I wear almost all 2xl but went with a xl in the HJC. I got 2 of them for 280ish each with shipping off ebay only con I have with it is the lack of a breath gaurd.
