Hey,
We are looking to have more ladies sign up for the noob track day. Guys, get those ladies to sign up if they've not seen the offer. Let's keep the list of people on the other thread.

Most of the active girls on MH have already been to the track, a few times! So you may not get a large number to sign up. If there are only 3 or 4 at least your chances of winning are better!

Wow, I didn't realize the drawing had been split out until I saw this thread. Sponsoring two members is awesome.

Ladies--I know there have to be more of you who are interested in trying! There are lots of people here willing to help get one of us squared away to try a track day. It was mentioned in the other thread--don't let concerns about not being able to get your bike there or track ready stop you. Whatever concern you're facing about attending, I have faith there's someone here with a solution.

Besides, the offer is so generous that it would be a shame if only a few of us showed our appreciation by entering the drawing. Come on ladies! Cowboy up.

If you havent read the threads here are cliffs notes:

Your entry fee will be paid.
If you have no way to get your stuff to the track that can be handled.
Leather rental will be covered (excluding deposit).
Show up with a bike that is safe to ride, boots, gloves, helmet, food and drinks.
Did I miss anything?

Looks good. Do we need to relax the restriction a bit for the ladies? How about "attended no more than 3 track events"?

Make it less than 15 and then I can sign up!

I still like the idea of it being for someone with NO TRACKDAYS! Only one person can win anyway, so it really doesn't matter how many sign up. I think it is a testament that a majority of the MH ladies have attended a trackday!

I am willing to loan out my gear, for any lady it will fit!

nah, I'm too intimidated by the thought of pushing myself to the type of needed for the track. I've only hit 110 twice. Both times were on a straightaway and only for a second. The minute I hit 110 I got off the throttle and back down to reasonable speeds. I know I'm slow and don't want to feel like I'm in anybodys way out there :/:

You dont have to go that fast out there! I am not gonna push you into doing something you do not want to do, but you shouldn't be intimidated! Before I did my first trackday I don't think I hit the triple digits more than once! You will learn more in one trackday than you will in 5 years on the street. The track is NOT all about draggin a knee and racing at triple digits! You learn about what how to properly handle your sportbike at speed. You learn braking, and body position and smooth acceleration. The guys out there at MSRH will give you advice that you can use in everyday riding! You will not be in anyones way! The staff out there will take VERY good care of you!

Being as I respect your opinion more then anyone else in regards to the track (you've been how many times??) I'll take your word for it. You've talked me into it. I've seriously really wanted to do this for a while, so I guess that I might as well step up to the plate and quit being a pansy . Thanks chica Besides, it's not like opportunities like this come very often, so I might as well try to get into while I can.
