I agree with some of the other posts. I go on a national forum and sometimes it goes days without any new posts.
There is stuff on there that if you click new posts, the most recent comment was 2 weeks ago... That aint a new post.
MH is cool because of the constant activity and yes even a little drama is ok. Look at Jerry Springer, people eat that s**t up!

This is true but the "worthless" comments seem to fall into the category of not using common sense.

That is it exactly. I don't read that BS! I do go to another local forum but I have to sift through a lot of BS on their to get to anything good as well. By all means I ignore the off-topic section and search through the other sections but every now and then I like to hit the "new posts" button and I'm a little tired of seeing "where my hoes at 6.2" every time I hit it.

These are just my opinions and you know what they say about those...
Putting up informational posts on threads can keep traffic going ALLLL day. There are plenty of threads here to dig up. Get creative. That is where I see things differently. If I put up a thread, I want the responses to be about the thread. If I want entertainment I will go in the off-topic section. An offtopic joke or two is cool in a thread but not when it gets outta hand. Appreciate the opinion

Never say never
I do ignore it, but can't help that I see PW and stupid threads everytime I hit "new posts"

This thread is in the feedback section. I am looking for feedback and any ideas to help make this a better community.

My idea is to make a thread ignore option in the User CP. I don't care to look at everyones sig, and I don't, b/c I have that option. I also have the option to ignore someone's PM's. It would be nice to be able to have the option to ignore any threads I don't give a $hit about. Y'all can't disagree with that b/c I'm sure you'd love to not have to see this thread

This way, people who JUST wanted to get moto info, would get it quickly, without having to thumb thru alot of , just to get what they NEED.

and if you look at almost ANY forum...the OT section is Huge, compared to the rest of the site.

dont really see where maturity plays a role in chatting with people in the off topic section. howabout you quit using highschool defences. were adults here. well its supposed to be 18+

I think you are more correct than you realize. There is NOTHING I can do but there is something Chris (Solracer) can do about it

If he sees it not being more motorcycle related then he can implement new changes

It all for the better in my eyes. I've got some great friends on here, I'd hate for them and others people to take this personal and $hit

I think hes refering to people not using "common sense" and OT posts that are not in the OT section.

You spelled "defenses" wrong

I don't have any issue with the OT section and all the PW going on there.. I do get tired of the PW and meaningless jabber in other threads.

I feel like if you don't have something to contribute to the thread and subject, feel free NOT to reply...
