I am a Yama man, so Yama.

but for new, it should be 600RR
or maybe a gsxr750.
for other, R6.

You will have tons of fun with any. Bet you wont even know the diff (mayb with the 750, but that is all).

bigger tires r not always the best...alot of ppl use 180's on liter bikes..just coz it dips in corners alot easier unlike the 190...so if ur not really into cornering u could stay with the "bigger tires":/:

No 6's. Then I rescind my vote for the Honda. The new 08 1000RRs will take some time to get used to...maybe their uglyness will grow on me. I cast my vote for the 08 10R or gixxer 1000...but honestly I love the 08 gixxer 750.

Mike that is really funny that you said that b/c last night I was thinking the same exact thing. The "bigger tires" thing is jst retarted. Current 600SS come with 120/180

All these sportbikes are too fast for most people. Go sit on them all and pick the one you feel good on. If there's 2 you like evenly, then pick out little features of one you like more (like slipper clutch vs. no slipper clutch).

IMHO, unless you're a billy badass, you don't need a 1000cc bike. All of the 600's have more ability than you do (not trying to be mean here). They're all FAST. IF you just want a bigger tire, do like many others do and put a 190/55/17 on a 600.

If you have been riding a 600cc SPORTBIKE for less than several years, buy a 600cc bike. If you plan on getting on the track.....buy a 600. All this is simply my opinion.

Exactly. Every sportbike out there has waay more performance than 99.9% of us.

I've ridden nearly all of them and I chose a Gixxer 750. Anybody thinks they need a 1000 should try a 750 1st.
