Not to get off topic, but does anyone know if they allow overnight stays? The wife and I wanted to get a group of people and make an attempt at staying. When was the last time most of you made it out there, how many have made it to the lowest level, thought it would be cool if they allowed us access at night to lower portions of the ship.

Yes, they allow overnight stays. My son's Cub Scout Pack did a sleep over last month. We were only allowed on the 2nd deck without a tour guide.

The hard hat tour allows access to the lower levels of the ship.

I drove my boat right up to it. Then I got pulled over by the Coast Guard.

You gotta be careful boating around there, the ship is right next to the entrance to the ship channel and they don't take kindly to people boating over there.

I got boarded and searched.
