Kent,

Thank you for the information, HCSO will be investigating the accident over the next few weeks. They will likely release all information in a few days.

To the family of the fallen rider,

I will have you in my prayers, I am sorry for your loss. I am interested in getting a benefit ride together. I did not personally know you family member, but I can feel the pain of losing a two wheeled brother.

Dave, im gonna PM you some information to forward to the family

Kent thank you again for sharing the info given. My girlfriend Sharon and I were discussing this today and couldn't imagine how the driver or any passengers could have felt seeing something like this or being a part of it. = /

+1 to everything...

I've only been on 1960 to get to Motorcycles Unlimited from the 45 ... and even just that little stretch scares me. Dudes, that road (for whatever reason) is just a death trap.

Thank you to everyone for showing your support. I just registered to the site thanks to Dave C. I personally am not a rider but Daniel was my brother. Again I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your thoughts and your prayers. If not for people like Dave i don't think I could have made it through this. Friends like him don't come around to often and I'm just greatful to have people like him to keep my head up.

For the Benefit, It's not set in stone yet but it's looking like it will be at the American Legion in New Caney. Feb. 9th. I'm still trying to get all the details figured out. But I think it will be pretty much an all day thing. Gotta try to get set up and get things rolling between 8 and 9AM and it will last till 3PM we have to be cleaned up and out of there by 4.

As for donations and things of that sort I don't know what to tell you just yet, I will have to talk to my mom about setting something up that people can make donations to. When I find something about that out I will post again. Anyone that would like to get in touch with me personally to talk about anything with the benefit just send me a PM and I will give you my number.

Yeah, Life long friend of daniel and I is getting it for us. everything is good to go with that, they are confirming it now. so that sunday the 9th it is, and I'm sure we'll be up there setting things up early. If everyone wants to be on the bikes say at like noon - 1PM We are planning to do judging and everything and give out awards for the nicest bikes. maybe it will incourage more bikes to show up. I'll get more details on that soon, just keep me in the loop on how the ride is gonna go down and all the donations and everything.

Oh, and Dad wants to stay informed as well. I think he is wanting to ride with ya'll. probably him and my mom Both. I know Wade (the guy daniel bought the bike from) and Jason (aka Brother in law as daniel called him) will also be riding with the pack.

not all of them. some were from out of town. Uncle Matt and James brought their bikes down from northern arkansas and missouri to ride. but I'm sure most of the rest of them will be riding. just need to pick a good place to meet so everyone can ride together.
