Ok so I drained my battery.....

I left the key on the "ON" position for the whole afternoon Now my question is, can I jump start it using my car's battery?

I have one with adjustable charging but, I got mine from an R/C shop but, you can get them from Cycle Gear or ask Patrick he might be able to hook you up.

well you can push start it yourself, put it in first hold the clutch down push for a few maybe 50 ft then hop on an start it, or you can but highly not recommended is if your using a car battery, make sure the car is off put the positive on and negative on metal frame on the bike and start THE BIKE NOT THE CAR, remember your car battery is much more powerful than your bikes so dont keep on to long and dont start the car, hop u get it to start

no offense, but a car battery isn't any more "powerful" than any other battery. a battery will only supply as much power as the circuit will take. it's the car's alternator that you have to be worried about. the charging system on a car is much more powerful than that of a bike, and can short out the bike's electronics. although, that is usually unlikely.

It will be easier to start if you put it in 2nd gear before dumping the clutch.

1st gear will often lock the rear tire.

Jump start it off of the car. They are both 12 volt systems. You probably don't need to have the car running since a bike does not draw much current to start.

Absolutely correct. Just be careful about polarity, a momentary mistake will be VERY expensive.
