Congrats Ricky..........but I gotta call bullshit....I never served with one Navy man/woman that would've run from a bunch of bullet sponges....You sure he wasn't joining the Coast Guard?....I kid I kid puddle pirates.

Seriously.....I have the highest respect and the utmost regard for those who would serve our country......Good Luck to you bro..

Here's some advice.

Do your time and serve your country well. When it's time to come out, go to school. THE BEST students I've ever had the pleasure of spending time with were ex-military. They just had the proper mindset, motivation and discipline to ignore all of the college that the yuppie kids became victems to. They were the ones I always went to for help.

It's also been my experience in the working world that ex-military professionals are the best equiped to simply plow through the BS and get the job done. I always look for those guys to be on my team/task/projects ... whatever ... I know I can always count on them.

Good luck, stay safe. What you are about to do is an honorable thing, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

I was in Alpha company which had the RSOV (Land rovers) and dirt bikes. Keep your eyes open and your mouth shut, better to call people if you don't know what rank they are by a high rank instead of a low one. There is no such thing as a box of grid squares and chem lights don't have batteries.

Take pride in what you are about to do, don't get down and out because Sgt. so and so is mean. Keep at it, show motivation at all times and get that PT score up. If so then you will go to Ranger school and tell other people what to do as a team leader.

Also take pictures when you get to Airborne school and further into your Army time, in the end you will be glad you took them. I wish I had more pictures of my buddies, some who died in A-stan. It's not a game so take it seriously because you will see what happens when you don't.

P.S. Don't be "that" guy. You'll understand later.

thnx bro

lol hooah!!!

im pretty pumped lol
