the good roads are the ones that make you feel good about riding your bike and puts a smile on your face.. different strokes for different folks.. sure crabb river is old hat.. but who cares.. if a person gets out in the sun and rides his bike with fellow riders who enjoy riding.. its a good road.. blah, blah, blah,, yada, yada, yada... if you want ride ride it.. if ya wanta sit home and talk about how bad it is.. sit home... this is not the hill country.. i dont have time to run to the hill country for a 1 to 2 hour ride.. so any road will do. since i am not into triple digits or draggin my knee on every turn...

I went to crr once and it was cool, smooth tarmac and tight turns. it was my first time there so kept it under 90mph...that didn't take seem to take any of the joy away from the riding.

That's the bad part to me. Even though I don't live all that far from Crabb, it's still outta the way. If I'm going to ride out of my way, I usually gotta make it worth it. Sadly, that almost always means doing 100mph bare minimum(usually a good bit faster) through the corners. I got a little smarter the last two times i've been out there and toned it down to around 85-90mph, which is still a little too fast to be doing on a fairly well traveled public road.:/:

At least I only do like 70-75 on the straights, right?
