Yep, this will turn into a big deal about violent games. The kids' parents aren't at all at fault, the kids were raised perfectly, thats why they were drunk babysitting the girl, had they not played that game, nothing would have happened to the little girl.

Very sad story. GB has a point on the penalty.....hate to see someone ruine their life that early, but they know better.

Me too but they totally ruined her life. But anybody able to beat a little girl to death I really don't want walking on the same planet as my girls. Those kids r f'd up in the head like a dog with rabies and what do you do with a dog with rabies???...you shoot it.

Honestly, my opinion, things like this have always happened, just media is getting better and better about making national news about it. Used to be when i was a kid, I don't remember a kid dieing in New York, showing up on the houston news. All the media has gone from being majority local news, to national crisis.

+1 man!!!

That's why we have all these skitso parents trying to overprotect their kids so much that there no childhood left.

Things like this always happened when I was a kid. It just wasn;t national news. So we could go outside and play.

Yup. I think the parents should be punished along with the kids. If you're not willing to educate your kids, then you shouldn't be breeding.

it seems the more technological we become the stupider are society becomes. We as kids play fought like video games but nothing to the extreme so of these stupid kids are doing today seriously I think a lot of them need an old fashion wooping to wake up some of those dormant brain cells.

Nah.. Nothing has changed. It's happened before, it'll happen again. We did the same stuff. Not just video games, but 'pro' wrestling etc. Nobody got (seriously) hurt.

Stupid is stupid. They would have killed her even if they were mimicking bugs bunny or roadrunner or teletubbies.

I think some kids beleive that life is sorta like a video game.
Like doing 100 mph wheelies thru traffic or trying to do increasingly wild skateboard stunts.
It's only after there is some tragedy that they realize there is no reset button, or maybe they never do.

+1

I also think that these girls who did this did not HONESTLY think that they were going to kill the little girl by what they were doing. Just like when people go 100+ on the freeway. They do know that going that fast and getting into an accident can kill you, but they do not believe it would happen to them.

Bad parents. these games have rating on them, like no kids 17 and under. Also, the kids are morons and should know better. They get what they deserve. This could have been prevented with better parenting.

OT. Crystal, who is that dude in your avi? b/f?
