The way I see it, it's none of your or my concern that these kids their lives away. You're not going to stop or change them, so why try? Go about your business, do what you need to do to avoid possibly getting shot at or robbed, it's called using your head. Just because it's public, doesn't mean it's safe and that you should be there...

Can't you call the cops and tell them about the problems you are having? Maybe tell a white lie and say that you go for walks with your girl and they are harrassing her. Ask them to step up patrol in that park, maybe that will help.

true... but if you are in fear of your life... and 6 on 1 would justify... you can use force. i'm stubborn and truly see no reason for me to have to change my daily legal habits for some hoodlums... but i truly feel like i'd have no problem if i felt like my life was in danger

If you guys decide to go do the CHL, spend a little range time and get familiar with the guns.... nothing worse than ducking and dodging someone that can't even clear a jam in "their" weapon....

I've had a gun pulled on me at a car meet once. This stupid guy was bothering us talking and instead of walking away i wasn't going to put up with it and starting talking back to him and bam, he pulled out a gun on me. Put my life and everyone around me lives in danger. I should have kept my moouth shut and walked away. That is why i say it's not worth it, you never know how far people will go and it's not worth losing your life over.
