Question Jobs in the Voice Over Entertainment Business?

Anyone have any first hand experience or know anyone that's been in it? The only reason i ask is because i recently spoke with this lady on the phone and she was kind of shocked at i guess how i spoke. She said that she has a director friend and would love to hear me i guess for a job or something. She said it would definitely be good pay. Granted this isn't the first time that anyone has said something like that to me, i get it all the time even locally face to face with people. I KNOW for a fact i shock people at how i speak to them sometimes and it's something i have been working on for the past 4 years. I work with alot of people and am on my phone 24/7 so that's probably where it comes from and im very articulate when it comes to words. I was just wondering if anyone would know on where to look? Or even how to get started? Just something i thought i may pursue just to see what happens
