New to houston with a SAD story in my first ride in Houston

Howís it going everyone, My name is Jonas, Iíve been Meaning to introduce my self here since Thursday of last week, but with the moving and unpacking and work Iíve barely have had anytime to create my name. IM a RN and sad to say that on Saturday was the first time that I was afraid to ride. I saw a very nasty wreck that evening, this guy on a BUSA just literally get hit my some truck, and then leave the accident!! The bike was totaled in 3 million pieces; the rider flew about 5ft into the air and then hit the guard rail at about 80mph+ and slid for about a few yards. I went to check on him , and saw that he wasnít moving at all nor breathing , I took his helmet off and saw that he was bleeding through his mouth and blood kept gushing out his nose ( first thing that came to my mind was that he is dead) his friends came and were just screaming and calling 911. We took off his gear and started to do pump his chest and CPR, after a few a minutes we got him to breath but nothing miraculous, they kept screaming his name (john) and luckily an ambulance came by took him away.

I was later told that the Truck that hit him was intentional. I hope that guy made it, he was pretty young.

And the Weirdest thing about this is how crazy faith is; I was just going for a ride to put some gas on the bike and to get a pack of smokes, at the corner store by house. I hope I saved him.

That's happened to me before, except with a car.

I was driving down a backroad in Cypress when i saw a Geo Tracker with 4 high school kids in it wrapped around a Light pole Literally! i mean the front of the car was at least 3 feet away from the rear. Anyways, i was the only person out there, i called 911, i went to the car and heard the music blaring as i approached the car and could smell alcohol! so i knew they were drinking. Anyways i went to turn off the radio and had to reach across the passenger in the front that had his Dead driver friend laying in his lap. THat was kind of creepy. The Driver was dead, the passenger was bleeding badly from the face but conscious. The driver rear passengers leg was mangled because that side hit the telelphone pole and i could tell he was going to lose his leg and the rear passenger on the passenger side of the vehicle probably was the luckiest one! He had only cuts and scrapes and didn't feel the impact as bad. All were unaware of what happened because they were drunk!

Be careful out there guys!

Well the young guy was smart because he had his full gear on, and it really didnt look like he broke any bones at all, and his face was ok ( helmet looked bad though) he was a Marine also. One of the guys there was really crying real bad, kept yelling at him to wake up. it was real sad, it made bring some tears of my own.
