Exclamation gsxr help!!! please

ok so ive proped the gas tank up and im trying to get into the big black box where the air filter is? ive taken all of the screws out, like 8 or so, so am i supposed to turn the lid or do i just pull harder to get it off, its not budging. trying not to break the thing. answers please?????

There is one screw in the center of the airbox. Did you get that one?

quick question how can you tell if its time to change the filter? its like 3/4 dark with dirt and such and it just looks like it needs to bechanged.....Yes...no

i think you can change it out or just get some shop air of available and air it out that should hold you up but changing it would be a good idea...
