Cold Ride

Rode to work at 5am. 30 degrees. Just a little on the chilly side. Anyone else ride this morning?

Yep, I did. If you have the right gear-no prob!

When I'm in my tuck position, it's as close to skiing as I can get in Houston.

Just came home from a morning ride - yeah, cold out there but stopped at the Filling Station in Navasota - hot coffee, good food - still don't like the cold so came home.

I got out for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and got shoved around a bit by the wind, but not to bad (me and the bike carry a little weight). Cold fingers were the worst part. I need some glove liners.

I rode to my mom's house in Magnolia late this morning and hit up some of the backrounds. I tossed a couple of warming pads in my gloves, wore my overpants, and threw a windbreaker over my leather jacket. I stayed comfortable, but the roads were a little more slick than normal. I felt the back end slide over a couple of times, and I was far from pushing it. Nice to ride a little anyway and get more seat time on the 12.

I RIDE EVERYDAY REGARDLESS OF TEMPERATURES. I PREFER 34 DEGREES INSTEAD OF BAKING IN SUMMER HEAT.
