**NEED A LAWYER**

i was goin thru jersey village and got pulled over and seriously harrased for about 45 minutes and given two tickets. The cops were making fun of my friends and my car (Crazy HUH?) one of them told me to "Clean my ****ing car" and if "My sons car was like this i put him thru the ****ing window". Then i was told that my eyes were glassy and i must be on drugs so they made me take a sobriety test. ive dealt with cops b4 but these guys brought it to a new level. after not finding anything they just wrote me tickets for whatever they could and told me to "get the out of here b4 i go to jail". To protect and serve i have no respect for cops.....................................

anybody know a good lawyer that does not cost more then 2 hundred dolllars?

Sorry to hear about that.

Don't characterize all police officers by a bad experience.

That's like swearing off of all women because of a bad experience with a psychotic .

I don't know the whole story, but I'd recommend calling the desk Sargent or captain and relaying your story to them.
Collect your thoughts and be respectful and coherent when you call.

Years back I had a bad experience similar to yours and a good Samaritan stopped and advised me to do the same.
We called from the pay phone right where it happened and they actually came out 30 minutes later.

Long story short, the ticket was torn up and the officers were disciplined.

Moral of the story: Most police officers are good people, stand up for your rights when you encounter one who's not.

Good luck.

1 ticket was for no muffler, (my car is still quiet though) the other for running a red light (i was sitting at a dead stop when he pulled me over?) he just pulled the red light ticket out of left field i didnt know u could run a red light without moving. also tried to get me for tint being too dark on the rear windows, license plate on the dash, car being too low (thats a new for me)I have never had any good encounters with police, i have truly lost all respect.............................

fyi, a car can be too low, just as it can be too high. adn running w/o a muffler is also illegal. i bet the ft plate is also illegal.

don't think rear tint has a limit, guess you have 5%

Try heeding the advice you were given and let up know how that works.
As Racer said, if this turns into a bash fest, the thread will be locked and deleted.

im not worried about, i just got caught up in a "lets people over tonight situation", wrong place at wrong time. It was funny though the cops were tryin to get me to slip up and also trying VERY hard to get me to talk back to them, all i could say was "why are you guys bein like this" and "im not tryin to cause any trouble at all". I kept my cool cuz i know how to deal with asshats like that but a normal person could have easily been aggrivated and lost their cool

that's what happens in jersey village. use theticketattornry.com he is the man. as far as $200 goes, that's like saying I want an operation but only have $200. next time ask for a supervisr to make the scene.

Cars can be to low... the plate should be mounted in the proper place... the window tint in the rear CAN be to dark although we are usually concerned with the front... as far as the red light, you might have ran the previous one and they sat behind you a bit running your plates before they decided to turn the lights on... IM NOT SAYING THEY WERE RIGHT but it seems they had reasons for the stop... as far as to how they treated you... As others have stated, if you truly feel that bad about it then call a supervisor... With that being said Remember this... If you say something make sure its SUPER TRUE bc if what is on the camera recording is not what you tell the supervisor than you can be filed on... Those cameras are always recording when we stop a car so just make sure you recall the incident exactly how it occured... Last but not least lets remember this is several in a police force in Houston and surrounding areas of 6000 plus... Dont generalize since Im sure you would not want cops to do that to sportbikers... Lets start changing both images for the better
