Well I asked for a rough estimate that way I could tell the Credit Union and I asked for the loan and its going through the branch manager if she approves it I guess I'll be trading in the yellow duc for a 1098R if she says no well then old yeller can stay (I guess) Did your wife like the 848 after all

no jealously....well, not too much, lol. I didn't even ask about OTD price. I don't want 3 bike payments. I can afford it but I don't want it. 1 bike will need to go before I buy another.

162 hp at the wheel after mods.
I'm guessing it comes up short in the bang for the buck department.
Anybody know what it costs to get out the door with it?

That vid. is of a regular 1098 and mine was $17G OTD. The one we are talking about is the 1098R which has a bigger engine and much more goodies like abs brakes, if I am not mistaken 5 different power settings and other stuff..

Those have the sound to match the looks.
I couldn't find a 1098r dyno run.
I couldn't enjoy a bike that expensive. I've droped almost every bike I have owned.

I've read some previews and I think the msrp will be around $38000...according to the article. That's half the price of the desmosedici RR.
