Sportbike Clubs - What do you think?

I was approached today about joining a sportbike club. Personally, I do not know that I am interested.

What is everyone else's opinions about these clubs?

i think a group of guys who like to ride together, plan trips, charity events, etc. etc are cool

clubs who collect dues, pose a lot, and buy lots of stickers and matching vests are a different story

I feel the very same way.
It honestly just isn't my thing.
Motohouston friends are all I really need but really anyone that respectably rides is fine by me.
Most of you guys that I've met are definately trill and will always be friends in my book.
