want to get for the summer? It is hot that is for sure, lol. you'd have to ride one to know if you like it or not. Twins are a whole nuther monkey compared to i-4's. They respond well to mods although the most hp you'll get out of one is 134 or so. They are heavy and burn gas like there is no peak oil in sight. It really is a love affair with an rc...basically they are old tech but bullet proof. the modern 600's are real close to kicking the out of it because of the power to weight ratio. go here and look around
http://www.speedzilla.com/forums/honda-sport-twins/

you'll find that most owners are well aware that the rc is a dinosaur at this point but there is something that keeps it in the garage...fun factor.

true... the rc is dead reliable...very stable and IMO a very good balance between track bike and street bike. It has more power than a 600...the usable powerband is street friendly, meaning it is down low on the rpm scale. But it is not stupid fast as the modern liter bikes. so it is more tame so to speak. It wheelies just fine if that is what you wish...I don't know but smj82 says it does, lol. Loads of aftermarket parts for it and can pick up a nice one for 5 to 6.5k
