Well, kinda "new to the region", they were here once before, the only thing that's "new" is Travis Marshall as the one running it. Besides, CCS is not "new", and I'd be surprised to see if they allow him to run CCS South differently than the rest of CCS.

Yep, they sure were!

The CMRA was under the CCS umbrella through 2003, breaking away from them in '04.

But, as I said, if you're not planning on racing CCS it's really of no consequence, is it?

The CCS and the CMRA really offer two different products. I see some overlap, but really they serve two different groups.

Well, I guess I should not say I "never" will, last year I did think about sprinting again, it is fun. I may hit up sprints at local tracks next year, all depends on how it all shakes out.

Besides, even if I don't race with them, I can express my opinion just like everyone else does on here, right?

I guess... sometimes...

Sometimes people get their feelings hurt and you have to stop talking so they don't have emotional trauma. (no Patrick, not you!)

Absolutely, I never meant to infer otherwise.

The ECR situation will hopefully be rectified by April 2008.
I can't imagine RACING on that track with it's current ARMCO much less run a track day.
