I would give RACER X even more mod credit if he would start bitchslapping the postwhores who stray out of the Off Topic section. I appreciate the knowledge he brings to the board, even if his personal opinion is tied up in his posts at times. You may not always like what he's got to say in his posts, but chances are, he's saved/helped/given good guidance to more than a few people along the way. if we have to put up with everyone else's BS(and there has been a phenomenal amount of it lately!!!) we should have to put up with Ed's too.

Might not like what he has to say, but step back and try and see his point. From the reality of things he says it like it is. We as humans just dont like to accept it. As for mod, maybe tone down the opinionated side of things on his part, as being a mod sometimes you are not allowed to say what you want, cause you are to be looked up to in a way.

Just my opinion. Reality sucks

good post, very similar to my reply in the original thread before that dang mod changed it to a poll and my post went away

I have to admit I use to not like Raxer X he has me off on more than one occasion. But after a while I think we got a mutual respect for one another and he don't me off anymore. Plus sheesh this is just a silly internet drama why loose any sleep over it.

But I also want to say threadlocking is as geigh as Richard Simmons blowing Gomer Pyle.

He does the job that was given to him well...why stir the pot...so some people don't like him...big deal. If he failed as a mod I could see having this conversation but again he does well as a mod.

Well, heres my .02 cents,

Racer x SEEMS all in all a good guy, i think when it comes to some things he is very opinionated and maybe starts to talk about things he doesnt know of. I base all this one just one thread, My wreck thread, not sure which one but he started assuming things about me when he had: never met me, never seen me ride, didnt know how long i had been riding for, and yet just assumed that a made a basic newbie mistake..... as of right now im not saying i didnt make that mistake,... but i am for surely not saying i did. But he stood his ground on it and didnt care what i had to say about.

so i say no (not that it matters) because it doesnt matter if hes right or wrong.... hes just right period (by his point of view)

so i pretty much just ignored what he had to say about my wreck and everything seemed to calm down.

i think we are ok with one another but then again we rarely talk to one another on here.

oh last thing..... your not the first to have a problem with him, and you wont be the last

i vote burn him at the stake because i remember a while back a guy that i had met, decent guy, was on the new running from the cops (like a 10 minute chase) and Racer X said he woulda liked to have seen him crash and die. or something like that.

if it werent for that comment, (and i'll find it and post link) he'd be ok in my book. i met him one day at Motorcycles Unlimited, just a short fat asian kat with no hair LOL.

prolly, i didn't care whether he died or not. if he was decent, he wouldn't have been running.

i prefer robust, but as i get older it's turning into fat.........lol :(

2 tubby tubby

....

like i said, other than saying he shoulda died, you're ok in my book. i dont know verymany people that HAVE NOT tested their 6th gear rev limiter when the fire and ice is around.. and i dont think any of them shoulda died.

<disclaimer> I do no run from cops, nor do i encourage anyone to try, they are highly skilled drivers with well built cars and you will get caught, maybe not this time, but eventually </disclaimer>

did/does he deserve to die, naw. if he died would i be sad, naw. i don't wish death on anybody.

now he's in my neck of the woods where my wife and child drive everyday, at the same time, literally on the same streets.

if somebody is going to have to die, who am i going to choose? wife/kid/cops/runner.
