Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce ourselves and tell you all a little bit about what we do. We are a new Track Day organization in Texas.

Our web site is www.texastrackdays.com. Our schedule for 2008 is now up on our site.

Please check out the web site, join our mailing list for the latest updates. For those of you who are interested in running the new Eagles Canyon Track, our first dates are at Eagles Canyon, on Feb 16th and 17th of 2008.

PS... The best welcome we've ever had from anyone is from this forum. Must be a Texas Thing. Thank YOU.

Especially if you have to trailer from Minneapolis! But seriously, weekends will always be a little more & probably worth it it means being able to get to the track as opposed to waiting 6 months for getting a weekday off.

Yeah, they are a shade more pricey... but weekends are great! I would really like to do that Eagle Canyon one in Feb.

Do you guys trade marketing services for free track days? I'll wear a Texas Track Days T-Shirt for 5 days a week (8-5 on weekdays) of advertising per 1 free track day.

Pricing is a little steep, weekends or not. Ride Smart does weekend days for their regular price, $135 at TWS (Texas World Speedway)...

true, but...

It sounds like there will be less riders on track with TT

number of spaces is based on the size of the track.. we are looking at about 15 riders per mile.... to reduce traffic jams. if we need to reduce the numbers we certainly will.

Definetly worth the extra scratch for a weekend date.
I looked through your site to see what the cap was for # of riders in each group and could'nt find anything.
Could you provide this info please.

edit:
nevermind, just read Chris's post

Hey guys.. we realize pricing is a little more than other organizations... weekends are always a premium.. and a LOT harder to get than weekdays at any track.

We limit the number of riders to approximately 15 per mile. so for example, we are only allowing 20 riders on the track at any one time at GrandSport Speedway. This gives everyone a LOT more room to ride.. safely, without tripping over each other. We make sure Line of Sight coverage of the entire track with professional corner workers. Also, we provide you with ALS (if available) at all trackdays.

little extra you pay gets a LOT in return.

thanks... hope to see you all at the track.

What kind of discounts are you thinking for CMRA? Also, you may need to add CCS-south to that lineup, looks like the '08 season will be hitting many of the same tracks.

Also, how will you be dividing skill levels? 3 groups, one for licensed racers?

Hey.. we are looking at about $15 off for members... of various organizations. what we intend to do is print coupon books and let the organizations distribute them to the members. and yes.. CCS South will be a part of the list..

thanks.
