Exclamation Attn MSRH management

Please figure out some way of having a photographer out at the track taking pics of riders through the coreners. It is a tool that many of us track heads use to evaluate our strengths/weaknesses after a TD. Not having pics really lowers the whole esperience behind attending a TD at your venue which I must say has become much better with the modifications you have made lately. Please keep the progress coming.

Thanks,

A customer.

But he is not able to take any pics other than from the front straight. I think he may chime in on this one.

MSRH isn't on this site. You need to call MSRH and talk to Al Mitchell he's the GM over there and won't let Chris out in the middle of the track for safety purposes.

I can't think of the paps name, but there is someone who comes out and is on the track in the corners, so if he can have access I'm sure someone else can. He's the guy with the silver trailer, a professional, but none the less a photog!

screw that old man....you're talking about doug pawlak with digital photo cafe.

not only does his pictures stink most of the time....but he is not very customer friendly unless you pay him at the track. a lot of people were trying to get a hold of him after the last cmra event at TWS (Texas World Speedway).....no luck. i sent him a few emails as well....and i believe someone even sent him a snail mail with no reply. he gets 10 thumbs down for customer service.

BC, why are you posting this here and not to the owners of the track? Posting this here just looks confrontational IMHO.

You'll likely get better results if you deal directly with them instead of posting stuff like this on MH... can give the wrong impression, ya know?

Just sayin'.

Not trying to make it sound like confrontation thus the good words I put in. Just really wish they could figure something out concerning the pictures. Every other venue permits them.

I like MSRH quite a bit especially with the fixed pavement and running CW(no wall).

Figured if it were posted here people might stay on topic and agree/disagree about having pics taken. Nothing less nothing more.

Yeah man, I hear ya, but it just looks... well, you know

Anyway, I'd hit 'em up on their contacts page anyway. I'm sure there'll be photogs there on race weekends and TDs prior to them.

I think that on-bike video would be a bigger benefit than still shots- still shots are tough to "diagnose" issues with. I'd get the on-board video or "chase" video sooner than still shots for teaching.

Just sayin' (not being confrontational )

Well, many of you know my view on this... Its not my track to run, but I cant understand why they wouldnt let established photogs sign a waiver.

Im a rider, Ive ridden the track, I know danger zones. When at moody gardens, I showed credentials, signed a waiver, and they gave me a press pass/neon vest.. and was told I could go any where cept ON the track.

Spoke with Al about this today. He says the are about to hire a full time Gal. I have seen her car work and it's pretty good. Prints at the track on high quality printer as well as discs. I'll keep you updated as it develops.

I've only had one opportunity for Chris to get me some photos but I really appreciated the quality and the way Chris does business. Hope to get some more from you in a couple of months!
