No longer a virgin....

I'm so freaking excited. I broke my knee dragging cherry today at MSR!!! And in the same session ran my first sub two minute time (1:59.5). Since I'm so new to the sport/track bike world, none of my good friends get it.... BUT YOU GUYS DO!!!!

When I first started trackdays I couldn't wait to touch a knee. I was a 'lil skeert at first and I confess, I was reaching for it.
After that first time, I realized it wasn't gonna grab or smack hard enough to hurt, it became easier and now I don't try. If it touches OK and if not that's OK too.

Congrats bro and welcome to the knee draggin, trackpipe lovin', speed addicts club.
Lookin' forward to meeting you. I can't make tomorrow, goin outta town, but soon.

Dragging knees save front end slides. Congrats.

2:00 flat is respectable for MSRH for a non-racer. I ran 1:57's and I think I was about mid pack of the 30 or so guys out there, but definitely I knew I was not a fast guy that day.

Fastest times for 600's in full race trim are high 1:30's. I think the track record on an extreme 1000 is around 1:35 or so. Buck?

Low to mid 1:50s are the best I'll ever do. I'm too old to risk my bones.

AWESOME, took me over a year to drag knee. I fiind now I adjust and only drag a few of the turns out there and actually pick it up over the curbing. Wait till the bodywork or the frame sliders drag..................eye opener!!!
